Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Technical connection data, including your IP address, is processed to deliver the requested page and protect the service from misuse.

According to IONOS, visitor logs include requested pages and files, access time, browser, operating system, device type, any referring page and an anonymised IP address. IONOS specifies a retention period of eight weeks and additional processing through WebAnalytics. See IONOS’s web hosting data processing information.

Providing and protecting this website is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the reliable and secure operation of this public website.

Appearance, language and external content

The homepage does not embed analytics scripts, advertising networks or remotely loaded fonts. Styles, scripts and graphics are served from our own web space. This does not affect the hosting provider’s processing described above.

When you switch the light/dark theme, only this preference is saved as tsc-theme in your browser’s local storage. It is not sent to us. You can remove it by clearing this website’s data. Storage serves your chosen display setting and is based on Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG and, where personal data is involved, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Language selection uses the page address without additional storage.

Email contact

The email link opens your email app. If you write to us, we process your sender address, message and any voluntary details to respond. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our interest in responding. We delete correspondence when the matter is resolved and retention is no longer necessary, subject to statutory retention duties.

Links and previous addresses

Links to Key, Split and other websites load their content only when followed. Previous generator and blog addresses redirect to Key. Existing URL parameters are retained so that saved result links still work. Key’s result links and QR codes may contain confidential information and should not be shared.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw any consent for the future. This project overview does not use automated decision-making, including profiling. You do not need to actively provide information to read the pages; technically necessary connection data is processed when you visit.
